HTC expects its revenues to top NT$65-70 billion (US$2.16-2.33 billion) in the second quarter of 2014, improving significantly from NT$33.1 billion posted in the previous quarter.
  The smartphone vendor also expects its operations to swing back to profitability in the second quarter with an EPS of NT$2.21-3.00 compared to a loss of NT$2.28 a quarter earlier.
  Gross margin for the second quarter will stand at 21.3-22%, up from 21% in the previous quarter, the company said at its latest investors conference.
  Sales momentum of its HTC One (M8) has been strong in China, Taiwan and India, while the HTC Desire 816 is also enjoying booming sales in China, the company noted.
