Huawei's new Ascend P7 is here. Building on the ultra-slim and sexy Ascend P6 launched last year, the new flagship packs an updated Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 910T (quite a mouthful) chipset, which has four cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. This is coupled with a not-so-high-end ARM Mali450 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. Covering the 5-inch 1080p display is Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Huawei has kept a tight check on the phone's dimensions - 139.8 x 68.8 x 6.5mm - despite the growth in screen size and internal specs.
The Ascend P7 features a 2,500 mAh Li-Po battery, rated for 14 hours of talk time, which requires 3.5 hours to charge to 100% (nothing to see here, move on). Sony's 13 MP BSI sensor can be found at the rear of the device. Huawei wants people to click amazing selfies, and has therefore fitted the Ascend P7 with an 8 MP front camera. We almost forgot to mention, there's 16 GB of expandable storage on this phone.
Running Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI 2.3, the Huawei Ascend P7 supports LTE, BT 4.0, NFC and comes with a microUSB 2.0 port. The phone will be available in black, white and pink colors starting later this month for €449.
