Transcend Information generated net EPS of NT$2.09 (US$0.07) for the first quarter of 2014, the highest among Taiwan-based memory module makers.

　　Transcend recorded consolidated revenues of NT$6.795 billion (US$224 million), gross margin of 19.53%, net operating profit of NT$908 million and net profit of NT$901 million for the first quarter.

　　Of the consolidated revenues, 46.9% came from NAND flash memory modules used in consumer electronics, 13.1% from commodity DRAM modules and 40.0% from models used in industrial control devices and SSDs, Transcend said.

　　While demand for NAND flash memory modules used in consumer electronics is shrinking, that for memory modules used in industrial control and SSDs is on the rise, Transcend indicated.
