Pegatron expects ODM notebook shipments in the second quarter of 2014 to grow up to 5%, and motherboard and desktop shipments to decline 15-20%, company CEO Jason Cheng said at a May 8 investors conference.
Pegatron shipped 2.7 million notebooks and 1.8 million motherboards and desktops in the first quarter, decreasing 25% and 21.7% sequentially.
Of Pegatron's consolidated first-quarter revenues, 38% came from communications devices including iPhones, 31% from IT devices including notebooks, motherboards and desktops, 20% from consumer electronics including iPad mini, Surface tablets, games consoles and LCD TVs, and 11% from other product lines.
Pegatron's board of directors on May 8 decided to distribute a cash dividend per share of NT$2.80 for 2013, accounting for 67.31% of the corresponding net EPS EPS of NT$4.16.
