LG may not have announced the G3 today, but the company's new KDDI-exclusive Smartphone confirms that its Quad HD panels are ready for prime time. The new LG Isai FL (LGL24) features a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) display, but the device squeezes itself into a body that is height-wise no taller than the Sony Xperia Z1. Powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset, the Isai FL packs 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage, 13.2 MP rear and 1.3 MP front cameras, 4K video recording and a 3,000 mAh battery.
Despite having a 5.5-inch display (the same size as the OnePlus One's display), the LG Isai FL measures 145×76×10.5mm and weighs just 160g. Connectivity is fully covered, with support for 4G LTE, WiMAX 2+ (KDDI's offering), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and the works. We almost forgot to mention that the phone is waterproof as well.
The LG Isai FL will be available exclusively in Japan by the end of July. Color options include White, Pink and Blue.
