Taiwan-based notebook ODMs Compal Electronics, Inventec, Wistron and Pegatron have reported consolidated revenues for April, with only Pegatron seeing on-month growth, according to the companies.
Compal shipped 2.7 million notebooks in April, slipping on month by 22.9%. The company had consolidated revenues of NT$57.168 billion (US$1.89 billion) for April decreasing on month by 15.41% but increasing on year by 0.08%, and NT$227.741 billion for January-April growing on year by 1.51%.
With April shipments of 1.5 million notebooks shrinking 12% sequentially, Inventec saw consolidated revenues of NT$35.612 billion for April, down 12.58% but up 16.89% on year, and NT$152.296 billion for January-April, up 16.05%.
Wistron posted consolidated revenues of NT$42.833 billion for April, down 16.29% on month and 15.39% on year. The company's January-April consolidated revenues of NT$168.650 billion decreased 19.26% on year.
Pegatron's April consolidated revenues of NT$72.476 billion increased 6.74% on month and 4.84% on year, while January-April consolidated revenues of NT$290.363 billion inched up 1.27% on year. |
