Microsoft is hosting an event on 20 May in New York where a new Surface tablet is expected to appear. Until now it was a Surface Mini touted to make the news, but it looks like a new Surface Pro 3 may be there too.
A mention of a "Surface Pro 3" has appeared on a Windows 8.1 support page and was captured by Neowin before being removed. The text read: "adds support to the Surface Pro 3 camera". A Microsoft employee has since claimed this was a typo.
Previous rumours have suggested the event would be host to a Surface Mini unveiling based on the invite wording: "Join us for a small gathering". Other rumours have supported this suggesting a 7.5-inch 1440x1080 resolution tablet running a Qualcomm processor, 4G connected and powered by Windows RT.
