In terms of LCD TV manufacturing shipments during the first quarter of 2014, Samsung Electronics held the largest shipment share at 22.5% followed by LG Electronics at 15%, TCL 8%, Haier 7.1%, and TPV at 6.9%, according to Digitimes Research.
  Turkey-based Vestel and Skyworth followed, both at 5.4%. Konka had a share of 4.5%, and Sharp had a share of 3.9%. In total, all of the makers shipments reached approximately 46 million units.
  In terms of Taiwan-based TV makers, total shipments reached 7.53 million, down 20.8% on quarter, and are expected to increase to 9.1 million in the second quarter of the year, added Digitimes Research.
