HP launched a new budget tablet in the US. The HP 7 Plus, the company's newest Android slate that we saw in leaked images earlier this month, features thick bezels. But all is forgiven when you read its price tag, just $99.99. Sporting a 7-inch 1024 x 600 display, the new HP 7 Plus is powered by a quad-core Alwinner A31 chipset clocked at 1 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of expandable storage, a 2,800 mAh Li-Po battery, 2 MP rear camera and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. Sounds pretty decent, given its sub-$100 price tag.
