Is it a phone? Is it a tablet? Or is it a notebook? Correct, on all three counts. But there's even more to that. The new Asus Transformer Book V is a truly next-generation device that completely justifies its name. The 5-in-one device is a marvelous piece of engineering and craftsmanship that allows its users to use an Android phone, Android tablet, Android laptop, Windows tablet and Windows laptop by buying just one product (package).
The Transformer Book V consists of two main components - the phone and the tablet/notebook dock. Powered by Intel's 64-bit quad-core (Moorefield) chipset with LTE, the phone features a 5-inch IPS HD display, 2 GB RAM, 8 MP rear and 2 MP front cameras, a 2,550 mAh battery, weighs 140g and runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Zen UI.
The tablet dock features an unannounced next-gen Intel Atom processor, 4 GB RAM, up to 1 TB of storage, a 12.5" HD IPS display and a 2-cell 28 Wh battery. One can pair the tablet dock with the supplied keyboard accessory, and you have a notebook just like that.
