Asus announced the new Fonepad 8 and Fonepad 7 tablets at Computex 2014, Taiwan. Both tablets are powered by the new Intel Atom Z3560 quad-core processor clocked at 1.83 GHz, which has a PowerVR G6430 GPU taking care of the graphics department. Both tablets feature 5 MP rear and 2 MP front cameras, 1 GB RAM, 8 or 16 gigs of expandable storage, dual-SIM slots, 3G HSPA+ support and Android 4.4 KitKat with Zen UI.
  The Asus Fonepad 8 has an 8" HD (1280 x 800) display. Thanks to a narrow 5.06mm bezel, Asus managed to achieve a 72.2% screen-to-body ratio with the Fonepad 8. It comes with a 15.2 Wh battery.
  Meanwhile, the Asus Fonepad 7 has a 7" HD display, is 9.8mm thick, tips the scales at 299g and comes with a 15 Wh battery.
  Both tablets with cellular connectivity will come in black, white, gold and red colors sometime in Q3 2014.
