HTC has reported revenues of NT$21.1 billion (US$702.4 million) for May, down 4.6% sequentially and 27.4% on year. The monthly figures were lower than market expectations.

　　For the first five months of 2014, revenues amounted to NT$76.26 billion, decreasing 16.5% from a year earlier.

　　HTC has projected its revenues to grow 96-110% sequentially to NT$65-70 billion in the second quarter of 2014. Having garnered revenues of NT$43.2 billion in the April-May period, HTC needs to generate revenues of NT$21.8 billion for June to reach the low-end target of its guidance.
