IC distributor Zenitron has decided to deal out cash dividends of NT$1.20 (US$0.037) for 2009. The company also expects its revenues to hit a new high in the third quarter of 2010 thanks to a clear order visibility.
Zenitron is pushing sales of USB3.0 controller chips from Fresco Logic expecting the USB 3.0 controller market to stage a major takeoff in 2010, according to the company.
Since Zenitron is the sales agent for SanDisk, the company will also benefit from growing global demand for NAND flash chips arising from the launches of Apple's iPad and iPhone 4, said industry watchers.
Zenitron has posted revenues of NT$12.43 billion for the first five months of 2010, increasing 63% from a year earlier.
