Acer on June 10 reported consolidated revenues of NT$25.55 billion (US$847 million) for May, hiking 32.69% on month, but slipping 2.91% on year, and NT$121.53 billion for January-May, falling 15.54% on year.
  Acer currently has 80% of its revenues came from hardware businesses and its increased PC sales directly benefited the company's revenues for May.
  As for the company's Build Your Own Cloud (BYOC) business, sources from the upstream supply chain believe the business is unlikely to have an immediate contribution in the short terms, but is expected to help the company push into the enterprise market.
