Coolpad ranked as the top 4G smartphone vendor in the China market in May with a 23.1% share in the segment, the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN) cited Sino Market Research as indicating.
Samsung Electronics was in second place in the 4G segment with a 18.8% share, followed by Apple with 15.7%, Lenovo 10.7%, Oppo 6.3%, K-Touch 5.7%, Huawei 4.3% and ZTE 3.4%, said the paper.
In May alone, Coolpad saw sales of its 4G models increase 1.3% from the previous month, while Apple's and Samsung's 4G sales declined 12.4% and 6.2%, respectively, added the paper. |
