ZTE on June 26 unveiled the G717C, an Android 4.4 4G smartphone, specifically for contract-bundled sale by China Telecom, according to China-based tech.sina.com.
G717C features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8926 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 5-inch 720p touch screen, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera, supports TD-LTE, LTE FDD, CDMA 2000 and GSM, and will be available for sale at a contract-free price of CNY1,599 (US$257) on July 1, the report said.
ZTE aims to ship 60 million smartphones globally in 2014. In the China market, ZTE aims at a market share of 35% for smartphones, the report noted. |
