Lenovo has gone official with what looks to be the first 64-bit Android Smartphone (or tablet) that doesn't run on an Intel Atom chipset. The Lenovo A805e packs a quad-core Snapdragon 410, which has four ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.2 GHz. Pair that up with the Adreno 306 GPU and bam! You have a great mid-range 64-bit chipset.

Remainder specs include a 5.5-inch qHD (960 x 540) display, 8 MP rear camera, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 4G LTE connectivity, a 2,500 mAh battery and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Lenovo has announced the new A805e in China, with no word on pricing or international availability yet. |
