Still having doubts over the existence of a Nexus 8 tablet? An import shipment listing on Zauba should clear them once and for all. The Nexus 8 tablet is real, and two prototypes of the same have landed in India. We also have some details regarding its pricing.

Note that Zauba lists the manufacturing price of the device, not the MRP. Hence, you will see the per unit value of the Nexus 5 to be just Rs. 12,821 ($220). The Nexus 8 prototype has a per unit cost of Rs. 16,484 ($280), which could mean that the tablet will sell for a much higher price than any of the current devices in Google's Nexus range.

Realistically, we are looking at a retail price tag upwards of Rs. 35,000 ($600).
