Xiaomi just became every India tech geek's wet dream. The Chinese company is moving on with its plans for global expansion by announcing its flagship Smartphone in India. The Xiaomi Mi3, which features a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, is priced at just Rs. 14,999 ($255). That's even lesser than the $299 price tag that we were expecting, translating directly from its price in China.
There's 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, 13 MP rear and 2 MP front cameras and a large 3,050 mAh battery. The Xiaomi Mi3 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with MIUI, which is perhaps one of the few down sights of this device (including the lack of a microSD card slot).
Xiaomi's website reads that people living in India can start registering for the Mi3 starting July 15.
