ZTE announced a trio of high-end devices, including a new flagship Smartphone, today. The ZTE Nubia Z7 is a beautiful beast that packs a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) IPS display, translating to an insanely high pixel density of 538ppi. It's powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC chipset, coupled with 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB internal storage and a large 3,000 mAh battery.
The new ZTE Nubia Z7 goes head-on with the Oppo Find 7. There's a 13 MP rear camera, a 5 MP front camera and even support for 4G LTE connectivity. Dual-SIM slots will surely come in handy. Nubia UI 2.0 is running on top of Android 4.4 KitKat OS on the Nubia Z7. The device is 9mm thick.
Next up is the ZTE Nubia Z7 Max, which is more like a cut-down version of the flagship. You get the same design and mostly the same specs, but at a lower price. It's got a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display, 3,100 mAh battery and is 8.7mm thick. This model has 32 GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot.
Lastly, you have the ZTE Nubia Z7 Mini which isn't a 'Mini' phone from any angle. It's got a relatively smaller 5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) IPS display, 2,300 mAh battery and is 8.2mm thick. Also, the Snapdragon 800 MSM8974AA chipset powering the device is clocked at 2 GHz. You get 16 GB of internal storage for your bucks.
The ZTE Nubia Z7, Nubia Z7 Max and Nubia Z7 Mini cost 3456 Yuan, 1999 Yuan and 1499 Yuan in China respectively. At the moment, it isn't clear whether ZTE plans to bring these three handsets to markets beyond China.
