Apple is offering NT$1,500-3,000 (US$50-100) discounts for its Mac, iPad and iPhone products to the education sector in Taiwan, looking to attract back-to-school demand from students and teachers.
The offer will last from July 16 to September 9 and qualified buyers are able to purchase discounted products through Apple's online store. Consumers are able to save NT$3,000 when purchasing Mac series products, while iPad and iPhone products have NT$1,500 discounts.
Apple sold 16.4 million iPads and 47.3 million iPhones worldwide in the first quarter. The company was the largest tablet vendor and the second-largest smartphone vendor, trailing only Samsung Electronics. |
