During Computex 2014 event, Acer announced the Liquid Jade smartphone and the Liquid Leap wearable. With several improvements made, the company announced new Liquid Jade Plus smartphone which will launch next month with the expected price tag of €279.

The Plus version of the device now has double RAM and storage capacity, featuring 2 GB from the earlier 1 GB and 16 GB rather than the 8 GB configuration. The rest of the specs are the same, with a 5-inch 720p display, a quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek processor, 13 MP and 2 MP cameras, dual-SIM capabilities and a 2,100mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
