WPCentral reports that Verizon will launch the HTC One M8 running Windows Phone 8.1 on August 21st. The phone will receive official accessories such as the Dot View case, which will work fine on Windows Phone 8.1 after the GDR1 update.

According to the report, the Windows Phone edition of the HTC One M8 will cost $610 unlocked, and $199.99 with a two-year contract.
