Samsung's first metallic Galaxy smartphone is rumoured to be revealed next month. While that is not something new as there were reports saying it will arrive before the Galaxy Note 4, now we have the exact date. According to SamMobile, it will be unveiled on August 4th.

It makes sense, as an early launch gives more time to Samsung to prepare the Galaxy Note 4 announcement. Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a mid-range handset that features a 4.8-inch 720p display and is powered by Samsung Exynos ModAP ARM big.LITTLE chipset.
