Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has officially announced a 4G version of its budget phablet, the Redmi Note 4G. The smartphone will be available only in China and Malaysia in black and white for about $160. No word if the device will be available in other countries.

It features 5.5-inch IPS 720p display, a Qualcomm MSM8928 Snapdragon 400 that has a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.6 GHz, 2 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal memory that is expandable via microSD card slot. There is a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 3,200 mAh battery. The phone supports only a single-SIM and runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with MIUI v5.0.
