Huawei has introduced its first Honor-series 4G LTE smartphone, the Honor 3C LTE, into the Taiwan market priced at NT$5,490 (US$183) unlocked.

Huawei will cooperate with Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) for marketing the Honor 3C LTE through retail channels, while also teaming up with PChome to promote the model through the Internet.

The Honor 3C LTE sports a 5-inch LTPS display, HiSilicon Technologies 1.6GHz quad-core CPU, 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Huawei aims to ship 100,000 units of the Honor 3C LTE and 300,000 units of all models launched in Taiwan in 2014, according to a local representative of Huawei. Huawei will launch a total of 8-10 smartphones and 2-4 tablets in the local market in 2014.
