NAND flash provider InnoDisk has unveiled a new 3MG2-P series of high-performance industrial SSDs. Available in standard 2.5-inch SATA III as well as SATA Slim formats, the 3MG2-P series uses a custom new ID201 controller, synchronous NAND flash and 19nm manufacturing process to produce high sequential speeds and random IOPS, according to the company.

The use of selected synchronous NAND flash enables the 3MG2-P series SSDs to achieve 530/460 sequential read/write speeds and 80/76K random IOPS performance. The use of a smaller 19nm process also allows the 3MG2-P to enable delivery of 1TB memory capacity.

The new 3MG2-P SSDs are designed and rigorously tested to ensure industrial-grade reliability. Featuring Evergreen L2 architecture, the life span of the new SSDs is maximized by an evolved wear leveling algorithm process.

The new SSDs also feature Innodisk's iData Guard to protect against unexpected power failures. While detecting that the power is losing, a special power protection algorithm process will utilize onboard power to save volatile data on to non-volatile storage area, said the company.

The 3MG2-P SSDs will be offered in capacities from 8GB to 1TB. The 8GB to 256GB versions are currently available while the 1TB model will become available in September 2014, along with a M.2 2280 form factor version.
