What the Apple iWatch will be like as a device is not yet known, and even its existence has only been confirmed through rumors. Yet, we are now hearing reports about the device's cost. Apple is said to be planning on charging $400 for its wearable, according to an article on Recode. Recent reports from fairly reliable sources have said Apple intends to introduce the iWatch on September 9 but begin selling it in 2015.
The $400 price tag, if that is what Apple plans on charging, will place the iWatch far above Android Wear smartwatches. Even on the high-end, no upcoming Android Wear device is expected to cost more than $300, so the iWatch better bring some great features or style to the market.
Unlike the iPhone 6, we still know very little about the Apple iWatch, so take this price report with a grain of salt. |
