Motorola announced the new Moto G model for 2014 at a private event today. The successor to the immensely popular Moto G, introduced in 2013, comes with a better 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) display. The chipset remains more or less the same - 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC - coupled with 1 GB of RAM and 8 or 16 gigs of expandable storage.
The new Moto G has a bigger 8 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front camera. Dual front-facing speakers are here to enhance your loudspeaker experience. An optional Dual-SIM model will also go on sale in select regions.
Motorola has fitted the new Moto G with a 2,070 mAh battery. It is 10.9mm thick and weighs 149g. Despite the slightly upgraded specifications, the handset retains its original price tag of $179.99. |
