Huawei also announced the Ascend G7, an affordable phablet that comes with a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720) display. Powering the device is a quad-core Snapdragon 64-bit 410 chipset, which has its cores clocked at 1.2 GHz. There's 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.

The Huawei Ascend G7 comes with a 13 MP f/2.4 Sony rear camera. The front module is a 5 MP unit with an 88-degres wide angle lens, perfect for clicking selfies. The Ascend G7 fits a 3,000 mAh battery, and runs Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI 3.0 on top. Huawei has managed to fit all this in a body that is just 7.6mm thick.

Price wise, the Ascend G7 is a bargain. It's a great pick at €250 (roughly $325).
