Asustek Computer is looking to achieve 15% on-year growth in its PC shipments each year starting 2014 and expects its annual desktop and notebook shipments together to reach 50 million units in five years, according to market watchers. It will also be aggressively pushing gaming notebooks to maintain its gross margins.
Currently, Asustek is pushing its Republic of Gamers (ROG) series notebooks, desktops and peripherals in the gaming market, looking to compete against Micro-Star International (MSI).
Asustek has unveiled its new flagship desktop, the G20, featuring Intel's fourth-generation Core i7 processor and Nvidia's GeForce GTX 750 graphics card in Taiwan. The desktop is priced at NT$34,900 (US$1,159) and targets mainly the high-end gaming market.
In addition to the G20, Asustek also recently launched its GR8 gaming desktop, Swift PG278Q gaming monitor, G551JM gaming notebook. |
