Sony is diversifying in order to boost the profitability of the PlayStation 4, and one of the ways it will do that is with the introduction of an internet TV service. That service has been confirmed by CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Andrew House. House spoke with the Wall Street Journal and stated both an internet television service and a new game streaming service will be coming out.
The new game streaming service is not as far along, but Sony says it will let people stream their games to a mobile device other than the Vita.
The TV service is expected to launch before the end of 2014. |
