With mounting evidence that the next Nexus tablet is coming from Taiwanese manufacturer HTC, The Wall Street Journal reports that HTC's official re-entry into the world of Android tablets is expected to happen very soon. In fact, it could be in the next two weeks itself.

The new Nexus tablet reportedly sports an 8.9-inch high-resolution display and is powered by a 64-bit Tegra K1 chipset from NVIDIA. Also, Google will use the upcoming Nexus 9 slate from HTC as the official launch pad for Android L, their most promising Android update since Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
