HTC was the largest smartphone vendor in the Taiwan market in August, accounting for 22% in terms of unit sales and 25% in terms of sales value, according to Taiwan-based Central News Agency (CNA).
A total of 687,000 smartphones were sold in the Taiwan market in August, decreasing 3.5% sequentially.
Asustek Computer camed in second with 16% in unit sales, followed by third-place Samsung Electronics with 15%. In terms of sales value, Samsung was the second-largest with a 19% share, followed by Sony Mobile in third place with 14%. |
