BMO Capital Markets analyst Keith Bachman has increased his estimate for Apple's iPhone sales during the 2015 fiscal year. The fiscal year starts next month and will run until September 2015. Bachman says Apple could sell 189 million iPhones during that period of time. In just a few days, millions of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus units were sold.
Depending on which analyst you trust, it is possible Apple could sell as many as 250 million iPhones in 2015, or it could sell less than 150 million. Bachman's estimate has increased, but it is still middle of the line.
Bachman's prediction in the BMO investors note shows Apple could sell 58 million iPhones during the December quarter, but that figure assumes Apple will launch the phones in China soon.
As Bachman has increased his iPhone sales forecast, he has decreased his iPad sales prediction to 58.3 million. |
