Samsung Gear S will be the first smartwatch that doesn't need to be paired with a smartphone as it comes with a SIM card slot and 3G connectivity. Now is the time for other manufacturers to follow the same path and the first one to release a similar device is LG.

Also known as the LG VC100, thanks to the FCC, the smartwatch is listed as "Smart Watch + CDMA," meaning it could arrive with 3G connectivity and a SIM card slot. It is still too early to suggest, so we'll have to wait a little more for a complete specifications list.
