MediaTek has announced revenues of NT$18.55 billion (US$609.44 million) for September 2014, down 5.7% sequentially but up 42.2% on year. The monthly figures were lower than market expectations of over NT$20 billion.

Third-quarter revenues were up 6.2% sequentially to NT$57.48 billion, meeting the low-end target of the company's third-quarter guidance of NT$56.8-61.2 billion.

For the first nine months of 2014, revenues amounted to 157.61 billion, increasing 63.7% from a year earlier.
