Memory module maker Transcend Information has reported revenues of NT$2.13 billion (US$70 million) for September, up slightly from NT$2.12 billion of the previous month but down 6.4% from a year earlier.

Sales of consumer flash products reached NT$952 million in September, accounting for 44.8% of total revenues for the month. Industrial control and strategic products followed with NT$929 million or 43.7%, and standard DRAM devices totaled NT$244 million or 11.5%.

For the first nine months of 2014, revenues amounted to NT$20.24 billion, increasing 4.3% from a year earlier.

Transcend is optimistic about sales for October, citing increasing sales of SSD devices, industrial control solutions and a number of new products, including driving recorders.
