As it was rumoured, the 12-inch Retina MacBook Air will most likely miss the upcoming Apple event that is scheduled for October 16th. Sources close to both Apple and re/code are saying that the 12-inch MacBook Air is in the pipeline, but won't be unveiled this week.

Along with the 12-inch notebook, apparently the 13-inch iPad Pro (or iPad Plus) will also miss the event due to manufacturing issues. The reason behind these delays is in Retina display, which is hard to make in bulk quantities.
