China-based manufacturer Gionee has partnered with the UK-based manufacturer KAZAM in order to bring the world's thinnest smartphone to Europe. KAZAM Tornado 348 smartphone, previously known as Gionee Elife S5.1, has set the record measuring only 5.15 mm.

The Elife S5.1 is already available in the US, but under the name BLU Vivo IV. It features a 4.8-inch AMOLED 720p display, MediaTek MT6592 SoC, an 8-megapixel rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing cameras, a 2,050 mAh battery and it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The device will be available in the UK next month £249.99.
