Demand for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus is clearly high, and with a new financial statement from Apple, the company has confirmed that demand is far exceeding available supply. Apple CEO Tim Cook says demand for the two phones has been high for the past month, and that has resulted in delays of at least a few weeks.
Tim Cook says he does not have any clue when the demand will match up with supply to cut down wait times and create a more ideal situation. As we heard from sources during the launch for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, suppliers are working around the clock to manufacture the phones.
Demand has also increased recently because of the launch of the phones in China. There are still lines at stores in the United States and in other markets where people are looking for the phones. |
