Samsung has quietly introduced the Galaxy S5 Plus, an upgraded version of the Galaxy S5, in the Netherlands. What's new in the Galaxy S5 Plus is that it is powered by the Snapdragon 805 chipset, putting it at equal footing with the recently launched Galaxy Note 4.

Thanks to the Snapdragon 805 chipset, the Galaxy S5 Plus supports LTE Cat. 6, with maximum downlink speeds of 300 Mbps. Apart from that, the Galaxy S5 Plus sports a 5.1-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED display, 16 MP rear camera with 4K video recording, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage, a 2,800 mAh battery, IP67 certification and Android 4.4 KitKat.

Hopefully, Samsung will roll out their upgraded Galaxy S5 Plus throughout the globe over the coming weeks.
