At an event today, Motorola and Verizon have officially announced a 5.2-inch Droid Turbo. The main feature of the phone is fast charging capability that can get 8 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes. It will be available from Verizon on Thursday.

The Droid Turbo has a 3,900 mAh battery that should last 48 hours and special software to use the battery as efficiently as possible. It packs premium specs with a 2.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM and a 21-megapixel camera that features dual-LED flash and can record 4K video.
The phone is available in 32 GB and 64 GB versions, with options for Ballistic Nylon, Metallic Black or Metallic Red. The 32 GB model costs $199 on-contract or $25/month with Verizon Edge, while the 64 GB model will cost $249 on-contract or $27/month with Edge. |
