Lenovo has announced the Windows 8.1 running variant of its Yoga Tablet 2 Pro. Introduced earlier in October, the Windows based model is almost identical to the Android variant, with the same hardware and (almost) the same set of specifications. The only major differences are pricing and software.

The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro comes with a 13.3-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440) IPS display with 178 degree viewing angles, and an Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core processor that can clock as high as 1.8 GHz. For $699.99 (the Android version starts at $499), you get an 8 MP rear camera, 4 GB RAM (2 GB in the Android variant), 64 GB internal storage, Dual 8W JBL Speakers with Subwoofer, Dolby Audio and Wolfson Master Hi-Fi Codec support, optional 4G, and a 12,800 mAh battery(9,600 mAh in the Android variant).

Lenovo has stuffed in a projector into the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, making this your ultimate work companion for delivering presentations, on screens up to 50-inch, on the go. The package includes a Bluetooth AccuType keyboard cover.

The Yoga Tablet 2 Pro runs on Windows 8.1 and is expected to go on sale from the beginning of November in the US.
