After it was essentially confirmed yesterday, Microsoft has officially announced its own fitness band. The Microsoft Band is a $199 device that works with Android, iOS, and Windows Phone. A Microsoft Health application will be available on all three mobile platforms, and it will analyze health and fitness data from the band.
The Microsoft Band includes calorie, heart rate, step, and other tracking features.

Microsoft's Health apps are similar to what Apple has created in that the apps pull data from other applications like Runkeeper and from other fitness wearables.
Microsoft has launched the Band in the United States, and it is available inside of Microsoft Stores. |
