Apple didn't mention the rumored iPad Pro in either of its two most recent events, but analysts and journalists believe the company is working on the device. The iPad Pro is reportedly a larger iPad that will function somewhat like a 2-in-1 device. The latest report on the iPad Pro comes from Macotakara and it claims the tablet will have a 12.2 inch display and be thinner than the iPhone 6 Plus.
While the majority of the tablet will be similar to other iPads, the Macotakara report claims the device will use design elements from the MacBook Air. The report also points to this device being a direct competitor to the Surface line of tablets from Microsoft.
This individual report differs from previous rumors since others had stated the display would be 12.9-inches. Regardless of exact display size, it looks like the iPad Pro is set to be a tablet/laptop hybrid with a display at least above 12-inches. |
