This is a sad day for PC users as Microsoft has decided end retail sales of Windows 7 and 8. This is just another was of pushing people onto the less-popular Windows 8.1 operating system and making more room for the upcoming Windows 10 operating system.
As of 31 October, consumers will no longer be able to buy copies of Windows 7, while the Windows 8 will only sell on PCs in stores, until stock runs out. Microsoft is preparing users for the new operating system that should come in late 2015. |
