SamMobile reports that Project Zero is the codename for the Samsung Galaxy S6. If the Korean giant sticks to its schedule, their next flagship Smartphone would be released in less than 6 months from now. Usually, Samsung unveils a new flagship Galaxy S device after MWC every year, in their own separate event sometime in March.
According to sources close to SamMobile, the Galaxy S6 is being designed completely from scratch. We fully expect Samsung to carry forward the advancements made with their design language, as seen in the Galaxy Alpha and the Galaxy Note 4, to the Galaxy S6. Many of us are hoping for a full metal phone, but Samsung's hybrid design is quite appealing too.
Mass production of the Galaxy S6 should ramp up in January, with global availability in late March 2015, if all goes according to schedule. At present, not much else is known, or can be speculated, about Project Zero. |
