Lenovo on November 6 indicated that it sold 35.6 million notebooks, desktops, tablets, smartphones and other mobile devices globally during the second quarter of fiscal 2014 (ended third-quarter 2014), an historical high.

Lenovo recorded consolidated revenues of US$10.5 billion for the quarter, increasing 7% on year, gross margin of 13.9%, net operating profit of US$3.65 billion, up 29%, and net profit of US$2.62 billion, up 19%, the company said.
