Chinese phone maker Gionee launched the Marathon M3 Android handset in India. If the 3,900 mAh battery in the Verizon Droid Turbo (or Motorola Moto Maxx) makes you drool, this handset will leave you ecstatic. The Gionee Marathon M3 has a 5,000 mAh battery... (whistle)

The Marathon M3, apart from its gigantic battery, is otherwise a strictly mid-range Android affair. It's got a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display, 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB internal storage, 8 MP rear and 2 MP front cameras, dual-SIM slots and a 144.5mm tall, 10.4mm thick body.

Gionee has priced the Marathon M3 at Rs. 12,999 ($210) in India.
